Rules on How to Play the Game:

  1. In ten given chances, guess a four letter word with no clues of the unknown word that are initially given.
  2. The MasterWord game has an interactive platform that will take in your entries and provide you with your score.
  3. It is your responsibility to check your score and guess the words correctly.
  4. Within ten given chances, the earlier you are able to guess the right word, the more points you get.
  5. If you are able to guess the word in the first attempt, you will be given the highest points of 10. Next, you will 9 points if you guessed the word on your second attempt, and so on and so forth. The points decrease by one on every try you make. You will get one point if you are able to guess the word on your last attempt.
  6. You will get a letter tracker to eliminate the letters that you are certain to not be included in the guessed word.

How the Game Works:

When you start guessing the word, you will be denoted with symbols to know if any of the letters are correct and whether or not they are in the right place. A black star symbol denotes that right letters are in the right place. A white star symbol denotes that right letter is in the wrong place. A dash ‒ denotes that the letters are not in the word that you guessed.
